Ms. Patil is a senior investment banker, public company senior executive as well as a California and Ontario attorney. Her career spans 25+ years of domestic and international work primarily in the financial services and public company roles to include the U.S., Canada and India. She has held several leadership roles responsible for P&L and revenue generation. She brings strong relationship with institutional investors including mutual funds; pension funds; sovereign wealth funds; private equity funds as well as corporate boards and C-suite.
Ms. Patil is the Chair of Audit Committee and board member of Alexandria Minerals (listed on TSX); Member of the Advisory Council of the Digital Media Zone (DMZ) at Ryerson University; and Board member and a Committee Chair at Association for Corporate Growth (Toronto), an American private equity industry organization.
She was the head of business development at Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange covering global diversified industries; Managing Director & equity owner at Pacific International (PI) Financial and Managing Director / Head of Investment Banking at Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon, both IIROC investment banks. Ms. Patil was the Global General Counsel & Corporate Secretary – Breakwater Resources (dual listed miner); Business & Finance Attorney: Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, Palo Alto, California; Corporate Counsel – General Motors (Canada); Dundee and GMP Securities; and merchant banker at State Bank of India, Mumbai.
A member of the California and Ontario Bars, she holds the ICD.D charter. She earned a J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa and B.Sc. (Honours) (Computer Sciences and Statistics) from the University of Bombay. Ms. Patil has served on various not-for-profit boards including, The IndUS Entrepreneur (TiE Global), a Silicon Valley based global organization focused on nurturing entrepreneurship; and YWCA, Toronto.
Her personal interests include international affairs; business news media; the arts and ancient culture; “an aspiration to better” my golf game; travel; preservation of historical treasures and environment; animal welfare; gardening; and mentoring.
