New Canada/U.S. Council established to tackle problems of Great Lakes

Founding CGLR Board Members Matthew Mendelsohn, Director of the Mowat Centre, and David Kocan, Managing Director of the Canada-U.S. Law Institute, discuss the 2013 launch of the Council of the Great Lakes Region. The new bi-national organization will address environmental and economic challenges in the region and will be comprised of members from eight Great Lakes states, two provinces, and the St. Lawrence Seaway.
