EVENT October 11-12: The Great Lakes Aviation and Space Technology Alliance Symposium

In 2022, The Great Lakes Aviation and Space Technology Alliance (GLASTA) was formed with a bi-national Memorandum of Understanding between the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI), Council of the Great Lakes Region (CGLR) Canada and USA, and Aéro Montréal. The purpose of GLASTA is to strategically explore our regional opportunities for collaborative innovation, supply chain and business development.

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural GLASTA Symposium, an event that offers participants an opportunity to shape the future of aerospace across the Great Lakes region.

GLASTA Symposium 2023 will focus heavily on the relationship between Ohio and Quebec, especially on the initiatives and research that are occurring across both areas. 

This year’s event will also focus on the developments within the Advanced Air Mobility and Space sectors. Within each topic, discussions will evolve around current research, infrastructure and supply chain, and the collaborative possibilities for the future.

The tentative schedule includes (but are not limited to) presentations from NASA, Bombardier, ZIN Technologies, Kent State University College of Aeronautics, CAE, and Parallax Advanced Research.

Strategic Collaboration: This event promises to be the nexus of innovation and collaboration, spotlighting unique cooperative opportunities for Canadian and US companies in Ohio and the Great Lakes region.
