WEBINAR: A Look at Smart Manufacturing Through an ESG Lens

Watch the webinar recording below!

With concerns such as climate change, social justice, and unprecedented environmental risks pushing companies to act and embrace sustainability as part of their business practices, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) continues to grow in importance across all industries, including manufacturing.

A sustainable Great Lakes region must include leadership and innovation from the business community. Many manufacturers are approaching their sustainability goals with smart manufacturing; and by leaning into ESG using technology, companies are seeing how ESG and technology together are good for business, good for the environment, and ultimately good for their bottom line. From attracting and retaining talent, surpassing environmental compliance, and mitigating business risks, manufacturers are able to reduce waste, increase employee and customer satisfaction, optimize efficiencies, and maximize outputs.

This webinar featured research from Plex Systems and Rockwell Automation that highlighted how smart manufacturing is supporting companies in achieving their ESG goals. Findings from the research, which took feedback from over 300 manufacturing leaders, are reflected in the 2022 State of Smart Manufacturing: ESG & Sustainability Edition, which were presented during the webinar.
