Lora Shrake joined CGLR in 2021 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. She oversees the organization’s operational performance and ensures alignment across CGLR’s programs to support its mission, fostering a sustainable, resilient, and prosperous Great Lakes region.  

With over 20 years of experience, Lora’s work reflects her long-standing commitment to advancing sustainable practices and environmental stewardship at local, regional, and global scales. Her management and leadership has spanned across private and nonprofit sectors – in North America and the Middle East – and has focused on operations, program management, strategy, and research.
