The development and adoption of big ideas and sustainable solutions can come from government, companies, academia, and civil-society. Here we will showcase new research and the latest thinking about the most pressing sustainable development challenges facing the Great Lakes region and the world.

If we are serious about our future prosperity, well-being, and the health of the Great Lakes and our environment, we must understand where we are today. First, we are not developing and scaling viable sustainability solutions fast enough for individuals and homeowners, businesses, and the broader public sector. Second, nobody can solve for sustainability alone.

By raising awareness about the most pressing socio-economic and environmental challenges facing the Great Lakes region and converting this knowledge into meaningful collaborations and action, we aim to empower smarter choices and better behaviours across all sectors and accelerate the development and adoption of transformative sustainability solutions.
